First Trip To Papa’s Office

A great moment in a little kid’s life is getting to see the office where their dad/mom works all day.  I remember my dad taking me to his newspaper office and being in complete awe of the surroundings.  Desks, lamps, stacks of paper, office supplies, pens and pencils, rulers, crushed cigarette butts in ashtrays, and that…

He is such a cutie! What amazes me is I’ll bet you couldn’t find more than a couple little kids out of a hundred that would have the courage to stand so casually at that window, 29 stories above the sidewalk!!! Other than maybe the famous “PandyPand” that is. 😀ReplyCancel

Hello, after 2 years!

Yeah, yeah, yeah…I know I haven’t posted anything since Peter’s been 9 months old.  Forgive me please.  Not only have we been busy raising this little boy (as evidenced by nearly 2,000 videos and photos over the last 2 years), I’ve found a few precious spare cycles to completely overhaul the I Am Phree! website.  I hope…

9 Month Fascination With Clocks

Babies are amazing.  Where did he learn to click his tongue and croak like a frog between each click?  Where did he learn to make up his own songs in baby language?  So many firsts, and sadly, so many lasts. We have seen the last time he stands like a flamingo in the bathtub when…

Strrrretch

Haven’t seen any posts lately, Ryan. I wanted to see a current picture of Petey.
Just got home from a visit with your cousin, Joe. I love to spend time with them and see the continual changes in Benny. It is so easy to fall in love with the grandchildren. Your mom has had a lot more experience than I have, but what a treasure to behold! I hope all is well. ????ReplyCancel

Six months later…here comes the helmet!

I cannot believe that 1/2 of a year has gone by since we’ve first met our little boy…seems more like a month ago.  People with kids have always said “Enjoy it while it lasts.  Time flies and before you know it they’ll be in college!”.  They weren’t joking.  We’ve already experienced our first ‘lasts’…last time…
